Armed with half an English degree and a history as a library rat, I periodically delve into the depths to write short fiction. While I would love to write longer stories(or even just more of the short stories I write), I am unfortunately very easily distracted by my other hobbies and this thing I have called a "job".

whispering pines series

A collection of works set in Whispering Pines, a fantastical summer camp in Appalachia. They are not necessarily in chronological order, although some of them are. Most of the stories focus on the perspective of Basil, a worker at the camp, and Sage, a camper. Both of these characters are new to the camp, but not necessarily to the world.

• Basil: God of the Quiet Places

  Published in the 2022 edition of Penmarks Literary Journal. In which Basil gets lost in the woods.

• Part 1

  The first proper story written in this world. Details The Incident, in which some foolishness occurs in a forest.

  From the perspective of Sage the morning after The Incident.
